3 days before expiryTake a photo of the gift voucher or gift card, or choose an image from your gallery or files. SmartShopper reads the barcode or QR code from the image on your device; if it cannot, you can scan the code separately.
Enter the store and, if you like, a fixed amount or percentage discount, minimum spend, start date and expiry date. Keep the redemption conditions as a note.
You receive a notification at 09:00 three days before expiry and on the last valid day. Open the voucher at checkout, show the barcode and mark it as used afterwards.
For vouchers with an expiry date, three days before and on the last valid day, at 09:00 device time. Reminders in the past are skipped. Notifications must be allowed in the app and on your device; battery-saving settings can delay them on some devices.
Vouchers, barcodes and photos are stored encrypted on this device only. They are not sent to the server, not processed by AI and not included in cloud backups. Signing out deletes them from the device; on a new phone, add them again.
Whether a digital barcode or a photo of the voucher is accepted depends on the store. Some stores require the printed voucher or their own app. Check the conditions with the store.
No. SmartShopper does not connect to store accounts. You enter the amount and redemption conditions yourself.
SmartShopper is free to download and offers in-app purchases. The free plan includes a limited allowance of AI receipt scans. Check your remaining scans and the next reset time in the app.
